MonsterBattle Cards
Monster Battle Cards
Get ready for epic battles against fearsome enemies in Monster Battle Cards! Assemble your deck and choose your cards carefully, because you'll need to use them strategically to defeat your opponents. Each card has unique abilities, such as dealing damage, providing extra lives and coins, and more. But watch out, because the enemy will also damage you. With every kill, you'll earn coins that you can use to buy more cards. Will you emerge victorious in the ultimate card battle? Play Monster Battle Cards and find out!
Controls
The entire game can be played using the mouse/touch, no other hardware input needed.

Idea
The game was created for the Jame Gam #26. The given special object was "Cards" so I had the idea to program a card game, here the given theme "You are the monster" was important. Instead of having a hero fight a monster as usual, I decided to reverse the roles. You fight with monsters against heroes. Since the whole thing had to be realised in only 5 days, I put less priority on animations than on a variety of features and design (animations will definitely come in the future). For the game engine I chose Unit because I had already done one or the other tutorial project in it before.

All in all it is solid. Nice graphics, and nice sound effects. I had fund playing it. I am missing some kind of hook to continue playing, some story behind, some real objective to keep me playing. I also missed some effects to make the experience more satisfying. I have recorded my play session in Playcocola, please check here:
I replied to the your comment on the Jam Page, but if someone is interested you can find it here.
Yes, I got it. I like to duplicate my feedback because if not the page of the game looks empty of feedback because everybody was adding the feedback in the jam page, I think the game page looks sad then :)
This is so addictive, great game
Thanks for your feedback ^^
